Nanoscale structural analysis

The catalysts used in the production of synthetic fuels made from carbon dioxide (CO₂) and hydrogen (H₂), as well as lubricant films formed on the frictional surfaces between components are precisely analyzed at the nanoscale by using high-resolution electron microscopes. This precise nanoscale structure analysis will lead to the improved performance of these materials, contributing to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.
