Kawasaki Refinery
One of Japan's Largest Refineries; An Integrated Petroleum and Chemicals Plant Backed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Area

Backed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, with its massive consumption, the Kawasaki Refinery is located within the nearby Kawasaki Coastal Industrial Area and its abundant land and sea transport services. It boasts one of the largest oil refining capacities in Japan, with Japan's largest fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit and Japan's only catalytic hydrocracking (H-Oil) unit. Integrated management of an oil refining plant and petrochemical plant, through product interchangeability, equipment sharing, and organizational integration, has created a highly efficient production system.
Message from the Refinery Manager

Greetings from the ENEOS Kawasaki Refinery.
As an integrated oil refinery and petrochemical site, we have undergone many consolidations over the years as the parent body of Nippon Petrochemicals Kawasaki Plant (operating from 1957), Nikko Oil Refining Kawasaki Refinery (operating from 1960), General Sekiyu Kawasaki Refinery (operating from 1960), and Toa Nenryo Kogyo/Tonen Sekiyu Kagaku Kawasaki Plant (operating from 1962). We have therefore been operating continuously for about 60 years in the Kawasaki area.
Through oil refining, we supply customers with a range of products, from gasoline to kerosene, jet fuel, and diesel. We also provide a petrochemical complex built around our ethylene production facilities and supply raw materials to neighboring companies via pipelines and other means. Integrated management of this oil refinery and petrochemical plant has enabled us to achieve efficient operations. As an important production facility for the future growth strategy of the company, we will prioritize safety and legal compliance as we work even harder to develop alongside the community. The Kawasaki Refinery looks forward to your continued support into the future.
