ENEOS Group Health and Productivity Management Declaration
The ENEOS Group's mission is to contribute to the development of our communities and help to ensure a vibrant future through creation and innovation in energy, resources, and materials. "Health, safety and environment" is one of our five core values in the ENEOS Group Philosophy.
Ensuring the health of employees and their families and fostering a healthy organizational culture is the foundation for practicing human capital management, viewed as a source of corporate competitiveness. Thus, we hereby declare our proactive promotion of "Health and Productivity Management," an initiative aimed at enhancing employees' physical and mental health and organizational vitality.
ENEOS Group Non-Smoking Declaration
Under the ENEOS Group Health and Productivity Management Declaration, the ENEOS Group identifies the reduction of health risks posed by smoking as a key issue in creating an environment where each employee can maximize their abilities. We hereby declare our commitment to spreading a culture of non-smoking and actively supporting employees who wish to quit smoking.
Governance
ENEOS Holdings leads the overall planning for Health and Productivity Management within the ENEOS Group.
We have established a secretariat within the Human Resources Department to support employee health, and we are implementing various initiatives in collaboration with the Health Insurance Association, affiliates, and business sites.
We are also working to strengthen our industrial physician team, including through the appointment of a psychosomatic physician at our Health Management Center at head office.
Activities of Health Committees
In accordance with Japan's Industrial Safety and Health Act, our health committees meet once a month at business sites with 50 or more employees to promote awareness and implementation of health promotion activities.
Strategy
Maintaining and improving the physical and mental health of each employee, as the basis for our corporate activities, is also important for implementation of ENEOS Group's Long-Term Vision.
We believe that initiatives to develop healthy work environments and realize appropriate work styles, as well as initiatives to support management of employee health while fostering autonomous health management awareness, lead not only to healthy employees, but to energetic workplaces overall and improved employee productivity as well, while also creating an organization where each employee can maximize their abilities.
