Locally hired overseas employees are also dispatched to the ENEOS head office to develop future executives of overseas sites and support their further success.

3. Global Business Skill Training

As our overseas business grows at an accelerating rate, we are actively carrying out development measures aimed at creating human resources who will exhibit leadership in our future overseas business.
As part of these efforts, we introduced our global business skill training (GBS training) in fiscal 2016. GBS training consists of four weeks of overseas training for employees in their fourth year in the company. Employees in the program are sent to other countries in Asia to think about and develop their own methods for achieving KPI targets set by local companies. This training is focused on the future development and expansion of our overseas business. It seeks to develop global human resources who can respond flexibly and quickly to changing times and changing global situations, and who can contribute to the strengthening, expansion, and creation of our overseas business. By having employees live overseas, it fosters their adaptability to differing cultures while also providing them with opportunities to build up experience with leveraging the capabilities of others to produce results.
