With a site area of 2,200,000 m2 and a circumference of 12 km, the Negishi Refinery is an oil refining facility spread over a vast area.
The refinery was designed as one of Japan's largest model oil refineries built on three basic concepts:

- - Rationalization of oil refining processes through integration of facility management and use of the latest equipment

Message from the Refinery Manager
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued understanding and support for the operations of the Negishi Refinery.
We commenced operations as the Nippon Petroleum Refining Negishi Refinery in 1964 and have since supported people's daily lives and industry by meeting the energy demands of the Tokyo metropolitan area.
We prioritize safety and compliance and will continue to operate safely and stably while harmonizing with the natural environment, striving to ensure a stable supply of petroleum products.
Since commencing operations, the Negishi Refinery has continuously expanded its facilities and, at one point, evolved to become one of the largest refineries in Japan in terms of crude oil processing capacity. In recent years, we have been adapting to changes in petroleum demand to achieve more efficient and sustainable operations.
By providing a stable energy supply essential to daily life, we support "today's normal." Looking ahead, we will continue to lead technological innovation toward achieving a carbon-neutral society— "tomorrow's normal"—while striving to remain a trusted refinery in the community.
