We have focused on capturing the growth potential of overseas markets and been engaged in electricity businesses in various regions. We currently participate in investments in the U.S., Australia, and Asia, mainly in the solar power generation business, and consider to expand our business further to promising areas. Overviews of our power plant

Cutlass Solar Power Plant (Texas, US)

The site is located about 60 kilometers southwest of Houston, the largest electricity market in Texas. The electricity generated at the plant is supplied to the market via ERCOT (Electricity Reliability Council of Texas, an organization that operates Texas' electric grid and market).

Total capacity: 140MW (ENEOS equity based capacity: 70MW)

South Field Energy Project (Ohio, US)

South Field Energy sells electricity into PJM (Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland Interconnection, an organization that operates Mid-Atlantic region's electric grid and market), the largest demand and wholesale market in the United States. This is a high-efficiency natural gas-fired plant in Ohio and has access to cost competitive shale gas.

Total capacity: 1,180MW (ENEOS equity based capacity: 177MW)

Co-investors: Development Bank of Japan, Idemitsu Kosan, Kyushu Electric Power, Shikoku Electric Power, Advanced Power, The Chugoku Electric Power Company, etc

Edenvale Solar Park (Queensland, Australia)

The site is located about 300 kilometers west of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. The generated electricity is sold to PPA offtakers and the merchant market.

Total onsite B2B solar distributed generation (Asia)

This is a distributed solar power business under a PPA scheme, jointly invested with Total Energies in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, Cambodia), India and, Japan.

What is PPA scheme?
We provides customers with an integrated no-CAPEX solution. Under Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) scheme, we install a solar system on the customer's premises and rooftops (onsite) and customers can enjoy stable pricings and cost savings from the solar power system.

We have a partial shares in the operating asset, VKT-Hoa An Joint Stock Company.
