Grease

What is grease?
Unlike normal liquid lubricants, grease is a semi-solid lubricant in which fine fibers hold oil like a sponge.

Grease applications
Grease is used for lubrication of various types of mechanical parts. In fields of electric vehicles, wind power generation, and robotics, grease is indispensable because it influences on the performance of the entire machine.

Grease development toward carbon neutrality
Improving the efficiency of industrial motors is important for reducing CO2 emissions because the power consumption of industry motors accounts for about 40% of the total consumption in Japan.
Energy-saving grease developed by ENEOS is used for the bearing lubrication of motors. It has been successful in reducing power consumption by a maximum of 11% and suppressing temperature rises by a maximum of 10°C compared with a conventional grease.
A new product featuring biomass base oils is now on sale.
